Chairman's Welcome

I am always amazed at all the wonderful people, places, businesses, which can be found in our beautiful Bastrop County. There is always some unique opportunity to experience Bastrop County in a new way. We are indeed blessed to live in such a caring and involved community. My heart definitely lies in Bastrop County and it is and always has been my mission to live life local. The Heart of Texas Chamber of Commerce is all about sharing that mission.

Our goal is to help our members market their businesses and connect them with, not only members of the business community, but all the amazing residents of Bastrop County. The chamber offers so many opportunities for members to showcase their business and make an impact in the community they clearly love being a part of. This chamber has a heart as big as Texas...with a love for Bastrop County.

The Heart of Texas Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to serving Bastrop County, regional businesses and community prosperity through advocacy, access to leaders, economic development, connectivity, and business education.

The Heart of Texas Chamber of Commerce's goal is creating an environment in which businesses can prosper. The main function of a Chamber of Commerce is to promote interest in local business possibilities and improve the economic welfare of the community. The Chamber promotes the premises of "live life local" which means supporting local businesses by encouraging residents and businesses to do business and shop within Bastrop County.
